Lifelong learning is a cornerstone of spiritual growth. At Christ Lutheran Church we offer a variety of ways to form, deepen and share your faith.  Whether you are 4, 14, 44 or 74 God calls you to be disciplined by: reading or hearing God’s word and praying daily, worshipping weekly, studying and being in community with one another, serve others in daily life, and living as good stewards by giving your time, talent and treasures.

MIA (Men In Aprons)

Satisfying your hunger since 2002. In a long and perilous effort to break in the new kitchen, a few brave men risked their lives and the lives of others to better the community of Christ Lutheran Church.  Some had experience, some did not.  After a few broken dishes and a pan or two of burned rolls, they became one of the greatest men’s cooking groups of all time.  No brunch, no lunch, or dinner has been the same since.  Members have come and gone, but their mission statement has never quavered … “Our goal is to create excellent meals in order to keep the congregation as fat as we are.”  Enjoy your meal.

The MIA’s had a fairly active year, however, our group has gotten smaller and we are always looking for new members. We are grateful to the WIA’s (Wives in Aprons) for their assistance.  Some of our activities:

  • Lenten Soup Suppers.
  • Easter Pancake Breakfast with a guest chef making world famous biscuits and gravy.
  • 3 WAVE meals.
  • A summer picnic was prepared and served.
  • Kitchen supplies and table clothes were purchased for the church.

With the profits form our events, we were able to donate funds to groups such as Confirmation.
